We are considering to buy a home with a 36X18 inground swimming pool. The pool was just replastered, tiled and looks beautiful - but:

We were told that the main drain is plugged, because the return line was leaking, so they plugged the return line at the bottom of the pool when they replatered and at next to the skimmer outlet (at both end of the pipe).

Is it a problem? Does it decrease the pool value? Can we have future problem because the plugged main drain? There is no other drain, except the skimmer.
Thank you for the answer in advance.

Sincerely Tom Kallai
